At Fit Fresh Cuisine we believe that living well means eating well! Enjoying delicious, nutritionally balanced meals is the absolute BEST way to improve your health. We use only the finest ingredients and emphasize local and organic produce, all natural proteins and our meals are FREE of added hormones, antibiotics, fillers and transfats. All of our salad dressings, sauces, baked goods, and soups are made from scratch.

Sarah Berndt

Fit Fresh owner Sarah holds a master’s degree in nutritional science, and advanced certifications in adult weight management.

Sarah is a board member of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Dietetics Program and hires many dietetic graduates at Fit Fresh Cuisine.  She is certified personal trainer and holds advanced certifications in Adult Weight Management.  

Sarah is the 2011 recipient of the American Dietetic Association and Wisconsin Dietetic Association Emerging Dietetic Leader Award, and was recognized as the Academy’s Nutrition Hero for her work on obesity in 2012. Sarah also served as the Wisconsin Dietetic Association’s Media Spokesperson from 2008-2010.   

Sarah is the dietitian and fitness expert for the George Foreman® Grills Look Like a Knock Out Weight Loss Challenge, and is currently the spokeswoman for Juiceman® Juicers and Blenders.

She is also a CSSD, board certified specialist in sports dietetics, the highest standard of credentialing.

We all know that each day is different, some days we may exercise more or less, be hungrier or not.  For such reasons, nutritionist evaluate one’s diet over a span of time, like a week, rather than what one eats in a given day.

A Fit Fresh Cuisine we focus on ensuring a healthy daily range of calories and that the macronutrient distribution of those calories, or the ratio of carbohydrate, fat and protein, is ideal for weight management, athletic performance, and promoting a lean body composition.

 We offer three calorie levels: Accelerated, Fitness and Performance.  The Accelerated calorie level ranges from 1200-1400 calories per day, the Fitness calorie level ranges between 1500-1700 calories per day, and the Performance between 2000-2200 calories per day. 

Farm to Table

Fit Fresh is proud to network with a multitude of local providers. In addition to supporting local farms and sustainable agriculture, buying local is important for providing you with the best tasting, healthiest ingredients. 

We buy locally from New Century Farm, Sugar River Dairy, Keewaydin Organics, Kings Hill Farm, & Gentle Breeze Honey to name a few.
